When not working hard at the studio as our Headshot Photographer, specializing in Actor Headshots, Nico is on stage (or on-screen) all over the Chicago theater scene. Nico is a professional actor, storyteller, and imagination explorer. He is the creator of his very own stage play, which was later adapted into a short film. He graduated from Northern Illinois University with a BFA in Acting and instantly began exploring the world of photography in the many realms of shooting film, retouching, and editing video. Nico started focusing on headshots in 2017. His inside knowledge of what Actors need and being side by side with them in the audition room gives him the edge in specializing in headshot, conceptual, and promotional photography. He has sat on the other side of the table with casting agents. Not only was this helpful as an actor, but also as a photographer, this helped him see what makes a headshot stand out from the stack.
