With an emphasis on community, our team of photographers strives to foster creative diversity while being both playful and professional. As a team of like-minded professionals, we provide an artistic eye through storytelling. We share ideas while continually learning and growing from one another. We ensure high standards of fine-art products while also staying current with client needs and trends. The studio was created by owner & photographer, Melissa Salvatore, to provide not only a tangible final product but also a memorable experience within a seamless flow from beginning to end. We understand that you have many options with photographers, but hope that when you choose to work with our creative team, you not only see the difference in quality and content, you also feel the difference in the experience.
Kids are what we are known for and there is a reason for that. With our trained kid wranglers and photo assistants on each session along with 20 years of children's photography experience, we can ignite every expression from your kiddos and make sure they are authentic. We come in as a team to your shoot, not just one person hoping that the shoot goes smoothly.
Whether you start with us for your first pregnancy shoot of your first fur child, our studio grows with your family. Perhaps time is overdue for a family portrait or it’s time to capture that fleeting childhood moment.

When we say A Little Photo Studio is full service, we take it to a higher level. We take art-making seriously, and when you take a picture with us, we help you figure out how to get it from image to actual object. Whether your memories are preserved in a book, on the walls, or in prints for family, we know the importance of following through. We have the highest quality archival prints and, most importantly, the artistry and objectivity to support you through the editing process which is often the hardest part. At A Little Photo Studio, we believe enough photos are living on your cell phones and hard drives and we are here to help ensure you get yours out into the world.

You are always welcome to take your prints and hang them yourselves, but you’ve come this far with us, we want to see you through to the finishing touches! We have a curated selection of high quality frames from our local partners, Artist Frame Services. . We don’t end there either, we can design your home by adding to an existing gallery wall or designing a new one. We can customize the size, shape and design to your taste and you can take home a completed piece we are all proud of.
Sometimes our best ideas come from being in your space. If you need design advice on planning a gallery wall - deciding how wide, how high, how many, we can come over and help you advise and measure. We will even arrange for all of your finished pieces to be hung while you sit back and watch - it’s one of our favorite moments of all.
